About Lura Jewelry
“I first studied jewelry design, formally, in high school and from there went on to Parsons School of Design, for fashion, and F.I.T, for jewelry. I discovered that when you need teachers the most they magically appear. I’ve been extremely blessed to have so many extraordinary teachers along the way.
I love to take seemingly delicate motifs such as roses, vines or smoke, and give them substance. My jewelry is the reflection of many of my favorite things: the Art Nouveau movement, ancient metalcraft, glam rock and, of course, the natural world. My desire is to create jewelry that is comfortable on the body, and brings an element of mystery to its wearer.
I want my work to become part of your story.
