There are two types of jewelry that are dearest to my heart: eye-catching, dramatic pieces and deeply personal, well loved ones. I’ve been having an ongoing desire to create rings that fall into both of these categories– marrying the extrovert with the introvert, if you will. I recently created a pear-shaped ring that has become a small obsession for me. It is certainly bold, and could qualify as a cocktail ring, but at the same time, it is incredibly comfortable, tactile, and is something that can be easily worn every day. I’ve made two versions in bronze with smooth onyx or faceted malachite, but I will be making it in practically every color in the candy jar. Stay tuned!
